COMREL St. Louis Food Bank

Three members of the Greater Midwest Chief Petty Officer Association (GMWCPOA), Anita Harmon, Vern Cash and Darrin Turner, joined over 30 other volunteers to assist in at the St. Louis Area Foodbank on March 10th. Together they packaged 576 cases of food to provide 1646 meals for those in need. The St. Louis Area Foodbank has dedicated partnerships with of over 600 hunger-relief programs and local agencies: including soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and residential programs. They are responding to hunger in communities across 26 counties in Missouri and Illinois by distributing food to hundreds of thousands of people each year.
